Sales Coordinator, Associate

Job Summary

Provide excellent sales support to assigned account managers, agents and employer groups to maintain and grow membership in assigned territory. Also responsible to coordinate renewals, proposals, open enrollment/benefit materials, as well as the submission and implementation of renewing benefit plans and required reporting.

Essential FunctionsInteracts with various departments to provide timely and accurate resolution of issues for our customers and to facilitate accurate and timely processing of benefits/opportunities and member/group setup.Aids in the management and oversight of the assigned book of businessAssists Sales Department with maintaining all pertinent information relative to the field activities that they supportEnsures data accuracy during the sales process as it pertains to benefits, compliance, group information, agent information, etc.Effectively educates members, agents and employers on how the plan works, data requirements for Request for Proposals, benefits offered and how to enroll.Coordinates renewal packets, supplies and open enrollment materials according to specifications.Updates internal databases, runs various reports, and completes/reviews legal documents to ensure accuracy.Stays up to date with new product offerings, industry trends, and participates in appropriate training as needed.

QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or equivalentPreferred Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience1 year of relevant experience of sales or customer service Required
