Sales Role: Primarily seek, identify, capture and negotiate profitable component business opportunities from a defined customer allocation. In addition, the individual will also support the post contract management of assigned key accounts to ensure adherence to contract terms and customer satisfaction. Beyond the direct sales responsibility, the role includes driving sales campaigns in the region, supporting and working with the other regions to identify sales opportunities and supporting the global development of business cases. Business Development role : Lead the component business development activity globally through the development and execution of a strategic plan to grow the component business within the region. Advise the globally located operations team on product development opportunities that will support sustainable growth. Follow the introduction of new aircraft types and position the MRO Division to develop required capability and capture volume from early operations. Create streamlined processes for the Equipment business. Specific role and main responsibilities: • Seek, identify and capture profitable component business for the MRO Division network. • Negotiate with customers' contract terms that will govern long term business, supported by in-house legal counsel. • Manage the component intake forecast for the designated sales territory and for the region providing accurate and timely updates to SLS. • Seek and identify opportunities in new products/new markets. • Develop and present business cases to gain approval to pursue major contracts and/or new product/market opportunities. • Conduct contract review for all major component contracts negotiated with the SLS site that will perform the work. • Implement processes for the Selling of Equipment, from concept to post contract • Represent SLS at industry conferences and trade shows. • Manage the customer relationship with major key accounts following contract award to ensure adherence to contract terms and customer satisfaction. • Propose, develop and maintain a business development plan identifying and targeting growth opportunities for SLS MRO component business • Develop and maintain capture plans for key business opportunities and ensure that plans are implemented to secure business within agreed time scales. • Provide SLS with relevant market intelligence and feedback. • Support SLS receivables team in the collection of ageing and/or problem invoices. • Provide market intelligence to the team including but not limited to market pricing, competitor strategies etc. • Work with the SE Division to develop, present and negotiate profitable upgrade The position can be based at either the Vélizy site or the Molsheim site. **Job Requirements** • Excellent communication skills at all levels • Very high level of self-motivation and drive • Effective time management. • Service Orientation. • Open minded to new ideas and ways of working. • Commercially creative and entrepreneurial, able to build new or unusual business solutions • Ability to work within defined systems with limited supervision. • Ability to build excellent relationships. • Strong ability to build a network of contacts within the customer organizations • Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to show initiative • Decision maker • Able to work Independently within the team • Good understanding of Word, Excel and PowerPoint **But what else?
