You will work as a Business Development Manager for Brazil, part of Brazil team under the Americas Region (Growth & Experience), and be responsible for driving Enterprise growth beyond conventional O&G Upstream, leading the development of complex, multi-stakeholder opportunities from early-stage origination through deal structuring and execution.
Acts as strategic integrator across business segments, coordinating technical, commercial, and external partners to deliver tailored solutions aligned with new energies, industrial expansion priorities and digital.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs Brazil Sales Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
Originate and develop strategic opportunities in energy transition, industrial decarbonization, and adjacent markets, building a robust pipeline aligned with Enterprise growth prioritiesLead early-stage project structuring, including market assessment, regulatory analysis, partnership development, and business case definition.Act as focal point for cross-segment solution development, aligning internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver integrated offerings.Solution development coordination, partnering with relevant in‑house technical teams, third parties and partners, as applicable.Partner with segment commercial operation teams to develop and submit quotations, as applicable.Support the scoping and development of required alliances for structuring project architecture at an early stage, including understanding of regulatory, planning, budgeting, permitting and development viability.Engage with national regulatory and association parties, to follow up market development around incentives and special funds.Monitor energy market trends, policy developments, and incentive mechanisms to anticipate new business opportunities.Market assessment and leads/ opportunities creation.Engage with Petrobras as focal point for all Energy Transition, Operations Efficiency/ Emissions Management discussions, solutions development and product lines coordination.Support business segment to grow in strategic markets and create leads with new customers.Know and share Baker Hughes Enterprise capabilities and identify opportunities.Coordinate enterprise-level deals and ensure seamless handover to execution teams upon contract award.Promote Executive Meetings, Technical Workshops and Steering Committee meetings with customers, providing strategic direction for technology collaboration with them.Achieve sales target defined for this customer segment, in agreement with leadership team.Enterprise deals coordination.Fuel Your PassionTo be successful in this role you will have/be:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.Advanced English Level.Relevant customer interface experience, with strong oral and written communication skills.Good knowledge of the Baker Hughes portfolio (preferred) and Horizons 2 and 3 strategies.Demonstrate a solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to drive innovative approaches.Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.Demonstrated ability to lead programs/ projects. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
