The Amazon Private Brands team is looking for a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and results-driven Senior Instock Associate to join our team and own end-to-end availability, speed, and inventory health metrics for our Private Brands portfolio. This role is critical to ensuring best-in-class instock performance by driving metric achievement through data-driven prioritization and cross-functional collaboration.
The Sr. Instock Associate will be responsible for monitoring and improving key performance indicators including availability percentage, delivery speed, excess and aged inventory, and overall inventory health. The ideal candidate will dive deep into data using advanced Excel capabilities and AI-powered generative tools to identify root causes, uncover trends, and build prioritized execution plans that accelerate goal attainment.
This role requires strong stakeholder management skills to partner effectively with supply chain, vendor management, planning, and operations teams to remove blockers and drive alignment on instock priorities. The candidate will develop scalable reporting mechanisms, automate insights where possible, and proactively flag risks before they impact customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
1. Availability Own Private Brands instock metrics by monitoring PO lifecycle, identifying stockout root causes, and partnering with vendors and supply chain teams to implement corrective actions ensuring consistent product availability.
2. Delivery Speed to Customer Drive faster delivery by analyzing network placement gaps, optimizing replenishment signals, and collaborating with logistics stakeholders to reduce promise-to-delivery timelines against category speed benchmarks.
3. Right First Placement of Inventory Ensure optimal inventory positioning by leveraging demand forecasts and regional patterns to place stock in the right fulfillment centers, minimizing transfers and improving first-shipment efficiency.
4. Control Days of Inventory Coverage Maintain healthy days-of-cover targets by balancing inbound PO quantities against demand velocity, proactively flagging over/under-supply risks, and recommending adjustments to sustain lean inventory levels.
5. Unhealthy Inventory Actions Identify and execute disposition actions on aged, excess, and stranded inventory through root cause analysis, liquidation plans, and process improvements to reduce storage costs and improve inventory health scores
