Sales Application Specialist Critical Care BeLux

Global Commercial, a key sub-function within Care Enablement, plays a vital role in advancing Fresenius Medical Care’s mission to improve the lives of patients with chronic kidney disease. The team brings together Sales, Marketing, Global Sales Excellence, and Global Technical Operations, working collaboratively to deliver high-quality medical devices, technical services, and impactful commercial strategies across global markets.

Goal of function: The Sales Application Specialist Critical Care BeLux combines clinical application expertise with account ownership to ensure Critical Care solutions are effectively adopted and deliver clear patient and customer value. The role builds strong customer relationships, drives solution‑based sales, identifies growth opportunities, and acts as a key link between customers, sales teams, and the organization, contributing directly to sustainable growth in the BeLux region.

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver advanced Critical Care product and service demonstrations, translating complex features into clear clinical and operational value for customersAct as a subject-matter expert, providing advanced product knowledge, answering complex customer questions, and supporting sales strategies in close collaboration with therapy and sales teamsLead customer onboarding and adoption of advanced and customized solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and workflows while proactively managing and resolving complex issues and escalations through effective coordination of internal stakeholders to deliver timely, high‑quality outcomesMaintain regular, value-focused engagement and health checks with key customers to ensure strong value delivery, proactively identify risks, and support retention and renewals, while owning and managing selected Critical Care accounts end-to-end as the primary point of contact—building long-term, trust-based relationships and driving renewals, portfolio growth, and upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesDevelop and execute effective account strategies by prioritizing accounts, mapping stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance customer loyalty and profitability, while supporting market development and sales performance across the BeLux territory and actively prospecting and building relationships with new Critical Care customers to expand presence within target accountsLead cross‑functional coordination to design and deliver complex, integrated product and service solutions, while maintaining accurate CRM data, supporting hybrid sales initiatives, and providing market, customer, and competitive insights to inform commercial strategy. Act as the internal voice of the customer to help deliver differentiated customer experiences, while ensuring full compliance with quality, legal, and corporate policies

Your Profile:

Must have a qualified Critical Care Nursing background with a strong professional foundation in clinical applications. The role requires hands-on understanding of critical patient care environments and clinical workflows, experience or knowledge of ECMO is highly preferred. Candidates need to have the required skills to  proficiently deliver advanced product, clinical, or technical guidanceCommercial or sales experience within medical devices, healthcare solutions, or complex B2B environments is considered a strong advantage but can be developed on the job for candidates with the right clinical expertise and mindsetFluency in Dutch and French requiredStrong communicator with a high customer focus, building trusted relationships through tailored solutions, while demonstrating accountability, integrity, and consistent alignment with organizational values and ethical standards.Proactive and resilient decision‑maker with strong business and financial acumen, using market insight to drive sound commercial judgments, manage conflict constructively, and perform effectively under pressure
