Sales and Service Representative

Our client, a leading North American brand known for providing quality products for a variety of diverse residential and commercial applications, is looking to hire a Service and Sales Representative to join their team in Saskatoon. As a Service and Sales Representative your main responsibility will be to achieve and/or exceed area sales and customer point of sale targets through the promotion, service, and sale of company products in an established territory.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional service including: product knowledge, merchandising, inventory management, marketing and promotional programs for each customer base Grow the business by increased listings and gain shelf/off shelf space for new and existing products Develop and build on relationships with key decision makers and sales staff Liaise with internal departments (i.e. customer orders, credits, technical assistance, marketing information and warehouse materials) Participate in special projects including but not limited to: new store set ups, overnight resets, tradeshows and weekend events as required Assist in the development and model prototype creation of merchandising. Standard and ad-hoc reporting (as required) Additional store accounts may be required/assigned Manage an expense plan budget and maintain company property in new and 100% operating condition

Requirements:

Post secondary education in business, sales or marketing is preferred or equivalent Valid driver’s license issued by the province in which you are working 2-5 years of in-store merchandising service or outside sales experience A proven track record of superior customer service and sales accomplishment Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating high levels of honesty and integrity Ability to develop and follow a sales plan for area Retail store experience or course work in merchandising/retailing is an asset Overnight travel (including air) and willingness to work non-standard hours as required
