Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

Job Description

The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for researching and developing sales and marketing opportunities, planning and implementing new strategic sales plans, and executing those plans. This role involves managing the Customer Service team and performing managerial duties to meet operational goals. The manager integrates the roles of account executive, sales manager, and market manager to achieve organic growth in the U.S. market.

ResponsibilitiesLead the Customer Service Operation and Team, including lab services, regulations, ISO, lab operation process, capabilities, and capacity.Manage and mentor the Customer Success Leader to meet performance expectations.Develop and implement annual Sales & Marketing strategic plans for 1, 3, and 5 years.Research and deliver sales and marketing strategies based on market and client requirements, including developing a new revenue portfolio.Promote the brand and introduce new testing services to the market.Plan and execute marketing campaigns across various communication channels, emphasizing digital marketing.Analyze customer data to identify different segments and tailor marketing strategies accordingly.Report monthly on sales targets, ROI, and market/competitor trends to top management.Create and manage budgets for sales activities and marketing campaigns, including customer service.Establish new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients through regular visits and understanding their needs.Lead outgoing sales activities and generate new business, focusing on operational capabilities and laboratory capacity.Ensure all sales and customer service activities support customer satisfaction, retention, and new business development goals.Assess the annual Sales & Marketing organization structure from an efficiency perspective and propose options to top management.Attend all critical Sales & Marketing positions for talent management in coordination with HR, Customer Success Leader, and other parties.Stay current in the industry by attending educational opportunities, conferences, and workshops, reading publications, and maintaining professional networks.Essential SkillsProficiency in sales and marketing strategy development.Strong data analysis and presentation skills.Experience in management, customer service, and chemistry.Knowledge of lab and testing equipment, food science, and digital marketing.Ability to drive domestic sales growth.Additional Skills & Qualifications5-8 years of experience in account management, business development, and sales management.Successful experience in leading, motivating, and supervising teams.Experience in organizational change management projects.Competency in project management and business development.High proficiency in MS Office.Bachelor's degree in sciences or an M.B.A. in marketing/business, or equivalent experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.Ability to write SOPs, reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.Mathematical skills to analyze sales data, calculate profit margins, forecast sales, and manage budgets.Work Environment

This role requires working fully on-site with up to 40% domestic travel after six months. The schedule may flex between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM depending on team operations. The Sales and Marketing Manager will work closely with the lab team and customer service team. .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
