About the role
AsSales Marketing Coordinatorat Hyatt House South Melbourne, you will support the delivery of thoughtful and effective sales and marketing initiatives that reflect the Hyatt House brand. Working closely with the Director of Sales, Sales Manager, and Operations team, this role brings together coordination, creativity, and commercial awareness.
Upkeep of digital and social media platforms, and assist with both promotional and sponsorship requests
To work with the graphic designer and print supplier to bring marketing campaigns to life with impactful visual content.
To work with the Operations team to develop compelling offers, while also conducting competitor analysis to ensure our promotions stay competitive and innovative.
Seek creative sponsorship and partnership opportunities reflective of the Hyatt House brand
Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to increase room and corporate bookings and extend our market reach.
Provide administrational support to the Operations department and assist in creating digital marketing assets, designing menus and collateral
Efficient handling of Sales enquiries into the department and prompt issuing of quotes and contracts using our Envision software
Assist with the follow up on sales leads and conducting site inspections of the hotel
Develop long-lasting relationships with the clients that you work with a on a day-to-day basis

Previous experience in hotel sales and marketing is advantageous
A creative, considered approach to supporting sales and marketing initiatives
Experience using InDesign and Canva, with an understanding of design specifications and brand consistency
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
A practical understanding of sales and marketing principles and their application in a hotel environment
Confident in building positive, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Tertiary qualifications in Hospitality or a related business discipline are advantageous
Previous experience in hotel sales and marketing is advantageous
A creative, considered approach to supporting sales and marketing initiatives
