Basic Functions
Our client is a manufacturer of dock seals (sheet metal industry) They are looking for a sales and dealer rep to add to their team. The Sales and Dealer Representative is to provide customer development (Training), product sales (Producing Quotes, Orders and organizing Shipping), customer relations (Call Back to review Quotes and Installed Orders), and product line diversification (Custom Orders), within their region as defined by the Sales Manager.
Location: Pine Valley/hwy 407 (woodbridge, ON)
Dayshift: 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
Payrate: $21.00 to $22.00 per hour to start
Permanent after 3 months of probation
Responsibilities
The Sales and Dealer Representative is responsible for the sales activities of the
regions. This includes.
customer service distributor training quoting order entry arranging shipping and documentation filing and brochure distributing
Reporting relationships
The Sales and Dealer Representative will report to the Sales Manager.
The distributors in the regions report to the Sales and Dealer Representative.
Principal Duties.
Marketing Assist the Sales Manager in the development and updating an advertising brochure or website content showcasing company capabilities. Sales Management Monitor distributor/dealer performance. Mentor/train distributors when new sales persons are hired.Customer Service
Prepare quotes when due and follow-up with customers regarding where the quote stands relative to others (who else is bidding, and their price). Review customer PO for correct information. Ensure current customers are provided with the highest quality service and contacted on a regular basis to evaluate satisfaction and areas in need of improvement. Ensure customer loyalty and commitment by meeting their needs for the right services, at the right time, and at the right price.Physical and Mental Requirements

The position requires an individual capable of sitting, standing, and bending. Must have a professional personal appearance. NO travel will be required.

Preferred: Experience in similar field.

Preferred: Some experience as the Sales and Dealer Representative of an operation.

Required: Must possess good communications and writing skills.
Must have the ability to read and comprehend instructions and effectively present information.

The Sales and Dealer Representative shall be deemed to be performing in a
satisfactory manner when the following has been met or exceeded:
Customers are loyal and customer retention meets or exceeds levels established by management.
