Sales Analyst
Overall Role Purpose\n\nThe Sales Analyst will be responsible to extract, manage and analyze large amounts of data from various internal, cross-functional databases & external sources to support reporting, forecasting and planning, as well as to in projects related product, services and surcharges.\n\n\nCountry Performance Analysis\n\nAnalyze sales performance by industry, product, and lane to identify trends, strengths and areas for improvement.\nMonitor external business environment for potential opportunities or risks that could impact sales performance.\nIdentify revenue leakage and propose corrective actions to improve business retention and growth.\nBenchmark performance against competitors and market trends.\n\n\nPlanning & Forecasting\n\nConduct the planning and forecasting by providing accurate and timely data-driven insights.\nDevelop predictive models and scenario analyses to support sales strategy and revenue planning.\nWork closely with stakeholders to align forecasts with business objectives. Consolidate input for bottom up projection.\n\n\nCommercial Reporting\n\nDevelop and maintain detailed commercial reports at the product and lane level.\nProvide actionable insights based on sales data to optimize pricing, product positioning and customer targeting.\nEnsure data accuracy and integrity in all sales reports and dashboards.\n\n\nProduct Management\n\nAlign with the company’s business objectives to drive revenue growth by identifying and quantifying business opportunities related to the product and service portfolios, based on market research and an understanding of both internal and external customer needs.\nCollaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, sales, marketing, customer service, finance and IT, to ensure seamless product integration and delivery.\nMonitor product performance, analyze key metrics, collect customer feedback, and gain insights into their evolving needs to continuously improve product offerings.\n\n\nAd-Hoc Projects\n\nParticipate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving sales performance and operational efficiency.\nSupport senior management in strategic initiatives by providing insights and data analysis.\nAssist in system improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.\n\n\n

Requirements:\n\n\n\nMinimum 3 to 5 years of experience in roles related to analytics, consulting, business planning, product/project management.\nStrong command and proven record on managing Business Intelligence platform (e.g. Tableau, Microsoft Power BI) as well as technical expertise regarding data - database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.\nProficient in advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerBI).\nStrong analytical skills with ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.\nProjection and forecasting skills.\nStrong communicator with creative mindset.\nProject management experience.\nAdditional certifications in the field of “Data Analytics” will be an added advantage.\nKnowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Oracle and Python, as well experience with machine learning will be a plus.\nMinimum Degree in Business Management / Economics / Statistics / Mathematics.\n\n
