**The Opportunity**
For our Core Diagnostic Division we are looking for an ambitious, goal-oriented Sales professional willing to join our dynamic team in Serbia as an **Abbott Ambassador.**
The position will be **based in Belgrade** and will cover the area of **Serbia and North Macedonia** . This is a field-based role requiring daily travelling across assigned area.
**The role will be a temporary assignment for a period of approximately 10 months (maternity cover).**
The Ambassador will be the representative of Abbott and the Abbott Diagnostics Division brand to the customer.
The Ambassador operates as the primary account management contact with customer account; with a focus to increase customer loyalty; business retention; and drive value expansion and improve economic profitability. This position is a very visible and will support customer decisions. Makes decision on reagent utilization on integrations and troubleshooting product replacement. Considers financial and customer implications as part of decision making.
**What You'll do:**
+ Act as trusted partner to existing customers.
+ Build promoters and achieve targeted retention rate .
+ Manage and drive development of accounts according to strategic account plan (i.e., value expansion and economic profitability).
+ Be the representative of Abbott and the ADD brand to the customer with emphasis on laboratory management.
+ Interact with Acquisition and Sales Specialist teams; Value Expansion Representative; Area/ Regional Marketing; Customer Support Center and Technical Service; Finance.
**Required qualifications and background:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related Biomedical Science field, or currently in the final year of such a program.
+ Prior experience in healthcare sales would be a strong advantage.
+ Knowledge of diagnostics equipment and local diagnostics market would be a strong advantage.
+ Prior proven experience of working within medical environment and building high quality business relationships with clients/external partners is an advantage.
+ Ability to travel up to 50% in assigned territory is a must.
+ Demonstrates customer centricity, innovation, adaptability, and schedule flexibility.
+ Analyzes discrete issues and provide solutions; Identifies missing information or recognizes underlying issues.
+ Very good command of English and Serbian in a must
