Job Title: Sales Administrative Assistant

Job Description

The Sales Administrative Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team by reviewing electrical drawings, performing take-offs for lighting fixtures, and ensuring accurate and timely order entry and processing. The role requires effective communication with contractors, creating and reviewing lighting submittals, and maintaining up-to-date order status information.

Responsibilities

Review electrical drawings to perform take-offs for lighting fixtures on projects.Ensure orders are entered and processed in a timely manner.Check the status of existing orders and backorders.Maintain communication with contractors regarding the status of their existing orders.Create and send lighting submittals to contractors for approval.Review approved lighting submittals to ensure orders meet client expectations.Communicate with vendors and contractors about stock status and ship dates.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in using computer software, including Bluebeam for reading blueprints, Excel, and PDF manipulation.Excellent customer service skills.Strong data entry and order entry skills.Ability to coordinate effectively with contractors and vendors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.Strong communication skills.Highly organized.High School Diploma.Open to motivated recent college graduates.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Miami, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
