How will you make an impact in this role?
The Sales Account Executive - Client Management is responsible for fostering partnerships with key proprietary merchants to maximize American Express’s market share, charge volume, and merchant satisfaction by delivering the Blue Box value proposition.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key proprietary merchants, driving business growth through proactive client management. Expand Blue Box’s business and achieve positive KPI outcomes, including charge volume, revenue, discount rate premium, and NPS (i.e. client satisfaction score). Identify opportunities to capitalize on revenue upside, develop comprehensive strategies for sustainable growth, and execute timely, tangible actions. Partner with internal teams to address contractual matters and business needs.Qualifications
5+ years of proven success in sales, business development, client management, or related fields. Results-oriented mindset with a strong ability to challenge the status quo. Strong financial and business acumen, particularly within the payments industry and related fields. Proven strategic thinking with a track record of identifying and capitalizing on opportunities. Demonstrated ability to partner with key internal and external stakeholders and address contractual matters, key projects, and day-to-day tasks efficiently. Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Proficiency in Japanese and English.
