POSITION: Sales Account Executive

Summary
ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Sales Account Executive for ASM Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Responsible for booking events at the ASM Managed Complex, including all spaces available for rental within the Caesars Superdome, Smoothie King Center, Champions Square, and Club XLIV.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Generate new sales leads and establish new bookingsAchieve monthly metrics for activities such as prospecting, networking and business development.Complete quarterly and annual sales goals.Respond to all incoming sales leads, including Convention Calendar leads as assignedCreate customized rental proposals for all spaces within the complexFollow up on proposals/leadsMaintain relationships with existing clientsMaintain accurate holds and client information in booking system: InforSubmit requests for Event Coordinators to work up estimated staffing costsPrepare and distribute Detailed Event Sheets for confirmed events and make revisions as necessaryWork as needed with Event Coordinators for a smooth transition of accountsBe physically present for client check-ins at the beginning of all sold events.Maintain sales files with accurate information, including, but not limited to, leads, proposals, correspondence, etc.Conduct and assist in-site visits with prospective clientsPrepare site visit packets, coordinate customized boards with production, and create customer presentations as applicableWork events as assignedCreate thank you letters and follow up with clients at the conclusion of each eventCreate and routinely update sales tools, both digital and tangibleAssist in the creation of copy for sales collateral, ads, E-blasts, etc.Assist in the implementation of the overall social media marketing planComplete Client Information Sheets for definite bookings for creation of License AgreementsInitiate License Agreements for definite bookings and proof prior to circulation for signaturesParticipate in hospitality-related events and associations to promote facilities, which can include evening and weekend responsibilities.Share in the responsibilities of coordinating and executing company hosted eventsSpecial projects as assignedAll other duties as assignedQualifications

Associate Degree or equivalent related work experience (Hospitality Management, Venue Sales, Customer Service, or related field) The ideal candidate would have a minimum of two (2) years’ of sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industrySales/Guest Service/Customer Service experience (face to face interaction)Knowledge in MS Windows apps (Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Adobe Suite and Sales CRM software experience a plusCertificates, Licenses, Registrations
Must possess a valid United States Driver’s License at time of appointment and throughout employmentPhysical Demands
