Job Summary
Technical Service Lead manages and leads the department, which is comprised of Production Engineering Group and Facility Engineering Group. This role is responsible for delivering the technical service, technical solutions and innovations based on Saitama site strategy. This role is also responsible to operate the site and build the Business Plan for the site as a member of Site Leadership Team.
Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities
Responsible for the site objectives and up-stream objectives.
Lead to create Site Business Strategy and comprise Site Master Plan
Lead the execution of Site Master Plan
Manage and execute program and project of the site, not limited to her/his department scope
Be accountable and manage Production Engineering group and Facility Engineering group
Responsible for GXPs execution of the site and accountable for GXPs execution of Production Engineering Group and Facility Engineering Group
Accountable for organizing the maintenance activity
Responsible for providing the technical service to Site operation
Develop talents and build the technical expertise of the site
Manage OPEX, CAPEX budget and control direct and indirect Head Counts of Technical service department.
Responsible for Operational Excellence activity
Report to Head of Saitama Site
This position is accountable and responsible for the site operation beyond the functional role as a core member of Site Leadership Team.
Operational Oversight:
Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve the objectives and lead better future
Oversee daily factory operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with other leaders to optimize workflows and resource allocation.
Team Leadership and Development:
Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Set clear expectations and goals for the team members.
Provide coaching, mentorship, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
Lead Saitama projects as the project leader or as the site representative for the project.
Strategic Planning and Decision-Making:
Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for the factory.
Make informed and timely decisions to address challenges and opportunities.
Collaborate with other members of the leadership team to align factory goals with overall organizational objectives.
Education Level : Bachelor's Degree
Experience : Experience of people manager for more than 5years. Experience for more than 5years in Technical Operation area, such as: Engineering, Factory Management, Manufacturing, project portfolio management, R&D, CMC, Technical Service etc. Additionally, SC experience with the technical experience above is preferable.
Competencies
Professional knowledge of GMP guidelines, include ICH, WHO and PIC/S GMP.Advanced professional knowledge of GMP execution in Production, equipment, facility and building.Advanced professional Knowledge in Production Management, Production Technology, Production Engineering and Facility Engineering of pharmaceutical industry.Superior communication skills and negotiation skills in both Japanese and English. Efficiency stakeholder management skill is the part of this competency.Sufficient knowledge of Finance for technical operation.Superior team leadership to lead, manage and motivate people.Strong growth mindset in business, technology, self and people development.Strategic and logical thinking.Sense to seize the future to create business strategy.Strong desire to achieve targets, deliver innovations and make changes happen.Strong problem-solving skills based on the sufficient experience in the business execution.Established strong leadership to lead various teams to the goal.Project management skills to deliver the success of complex projects
