SailPoint IAM Developer (Senior Level)
Position Description:

The Senior SailPoint IAM Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-wide identity and access management (IAM) solutions using SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and/or SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC).
This role leads complex application onboarding, automation, and integration activities, ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant identity governance for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
🔧 1. Solution Design & Implementation
Design and implement end-to-end IAM workflows including Joiner–Mover–Leaver (JML).
Build and customize SailPoint components: Rules, Workflows, Tasks, Certifications, Policies, Roles.
Develop and configure connectors (REST, JDBC, LDAP, SCIM, AD, SaaS apps).
Implement identity lifecycle and provisioning for complex systems.
Optimize role engineering and access models (RBAC/ABAC).

🔄 2. Application Onboarding Lead
Lead application discovery, data mapping, schema design, and attribute configuration.
Handle full-cycle onboarding for high-complexity systems (SAP, Workday, Oracle, legacy apps).
Review & approve attribute mappings, entitlements, and reconciliation logic.
Ensure integrations follow best practices and security controls.

đŸ› ïž 3. Technical Leadership & Mentoring
Guide junior developers during development, testing, and migration phases.
Review code, rules, transformations, and documentation.
Support training, knowledge-sharing, and best-practice adoption within the IAM team.

đŸ§Ș 4. Testing, Troubleshooting & Optimization
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex provisioning issues.
Work with QA for test planning, defect resolution, and regression automation.
Optimize job schedules, connectors, performance tuning, and monitoring.

🔐 5. Security, Compliance & Governance
Ensure implementations comply with SOX, GDPR, ISO, internal audit, and MMC security standards.
Perform certifications, SoD reviews, policy validations, and risk assessments.
Work with Security & Compliance teams to remediate violations or audit findings.

📊 6. Program & Migration Support (if applicable)
(Useful in your SailPoint migration context)
Lead migration of applications from legacy platforms (e.g., OIM → SailPoint).
Coordinate with PMO, CAB, Network, and Security during wave-based onboarding.
Validate data migration, workflows, and access policies across environments.
Ensure documentation, KT, and hypercare support are completed per wave.

Required Skills & Experience
🎓 Experience
5–8+ years total experience in IAM.
4+ years hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ or SailPoint ISC experience.
Experience leading medium to large-scale IAM implementations.

SailPoint IIQ: Lifecycle Manager, Compliance Manager, Rules, Tasks
SailPoint ISC: SaaS connectors, Identity Profiles, Access Profiles, Workflows
Strong knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, HR systems (Workday/Oracle HR)
Advanced understanding of RBAC, ABAC, SoD, Provisioning, Access Reviews
Knowledge of databases (SQL), Git, CI/CD, and cloud IAM practices

Soft Skills
Excellent communication & stakeholder coordination
Ability to lead technical discussions and cross-team resolution
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Ability to work within Agile and wave-based delivery models

Preferred Skills
Experience with OIM, Okta, or Azure AD
Power BI or dashboarding experience
Knowledge of containerization or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
