Sage Project Manager

Job Description

The Sage Intacct Implementation Project Manager will serve as the primary internal lead for the Sage Intacct implementation, coordinating closely with Sage, the Value-Added Reseller (VAR), and internal stakeholders. This role will ensure project alignment, manage deliverables, and facilitate communication across all functional and technical workstreams.

Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact between the organization, VAR, and Sage for all project phases.Participate in the Steering Committee and Engagement Leadership meetings, representing internal interests and ensuring alignment with executive sponsors.Coordinate with the VAR Project Manager and technical leads to track milestones, deliverables, and risk mitigation strategies.Oversee internal teams responsible for legacy data extraction, test environment services, and integration development.Identify and ensure the delivery of business process reengineering to gain work efficiencies.Ensure seamless collaboration between internal resources and VAR functional and technical consultants.Manage the project plan, including timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.Facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design sessions with both internal and external partners.Oversee data migration, system integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).Coordinate with VAR and Sage to resolve issues, escalate risks, and ensure contractual obligations are met.Communicate project status, risks, and decisions to executive sponsors and key stakeholders.Lead change management efforts, including communication, training, and support for end-users.Establish a framework for ongoing support, enhancements, and continuous improvement in partnership with VAR and consultants.

Essential Skills

Proven experience managing financial management solution implementations for Sage Intacct.Strong project management skills (PMP or similar certification is a plus).Experience working with external implementation partners/VARs.Solid understanding of accounting and financial processes.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with UAT Testing, data extraction, validation, and hypercare.Familiarity with US GAAP.

Work Environment

This role operates on a 37.5-hour work week and is expected to be onsite twice per week (Tuesday/Wednesday)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Malvern, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75.00 - $85.00/hr.
