The Safety Training Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating safety training programs to ensure employees are equipped with the knowledge and skills to maintain a safe working environment. This role focuses on fostering a strong safety culture through effective education and continuous improvement of training initiatives. **What You'll Be Doing:** + Develop and implement safety training programs tailored to various roles and risk levels. + Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-site training sessions. + Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with certification requirements. + Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. + Update training materials regularly to reflect changes in regulations, procedures, and best practices. + Collaborate with HSE teams to align training with safety policies and procedures. + Assist in incident investigations by identifying training gaps and recommending improvements. + Support onboarding safety orientation for new employees and contractors. + Ensure training programs meet regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH, ISO). + Prepare and submit training-related reports and documentation. + Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting safety training. + Promote safety awareness through campaigns, workshops, and toolbox talks. + Serve as a resource for employees seeking safety guidance or clarification. + Participate in safety committees and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. + Perform any other jobrelated duties as assigned. **What Required Skills You'll Bring:** + Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science,Engineering or related field. + Minimum of 3yearsprofessional experience in the field of Health, Safety & Environment + Strong knowledge of HSE industry practices and regulations. + Requires computer literacy and capable to operate current computer safety programs. + Strong English verbal and written communications skills is essential. + Strong presentation and instructional design skills. + Must have the ability to perform with minimum supervision and be able to work with multi-national workforce. + Mustbe culturally sensitive, a team player, and have strong business professional acumen. **What Desired Skills You'll Bring:** + Certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred.
