Job Summary:
Performs direct observation of the patient to maintain safety. Utilizes specialized training, de-escalation techniques and other interventions as applicable to create a therapeutic and calming environment for patients. Communicates patient mental and/or physical status changes to the primary Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Leader. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.
What is Enterprise Pool?
We have reimagined our contingent staffing plan with a new Enterprise Resource Pool that offers many options for flexibility, variety, and career growth, while supporting our collective mission to deliver outstanding whole-person care to our flourishing communities. The CommonSpirit Mountain Region Enterprise Resource Pool consists of both clinical and allied roles that flex or float throughout the CommonSpirit Mountain Region system. Associates within the Enterprise Pool will have the opportunity to float to multiple units within one facility, a geographic group of facilities, or to all of our facilities. This pool will provide additional resources to support and supplement the workload and staffing needs across the system.
Enterprise Pool 1:
Base rate + $1.50/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentials1 facility – preferred location/closest to homeAt least 2 applicable units - Must work in at least 2 applicable units.Enterprise Pool 2:
Base rate + $3.00/Hr. Pool Differential + Eligible for evening, night, and weekend differentialsMust be able to travel to the 5 hospitals assignedEnterprise Pool 3:

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
6 months of hospital or patient care experience, preferredKnowledge of medical terminology, preferredKnowledge of therapeutic interventions. Ability to observe changes in patient behavior, deescalate aggressive or agitated behavior, and anticipate need for further intervention.De-escalation training, preferred. De-escalation required if sitting for at risk for harm to self or others within 30 days of hire or transferAbility to read, write, speak, and understand English.Basic computer skillsHigh School diploma or GED requiredBLS with the American Heart Association RequiredPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
