YOUR ROLE

Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and regulationsMonitor and support risk management processesAssist in the compliance activities relating to Commonwealth Authority (Comcare) Major Hazardous Facilities (MHF) Regulations for the Region.Implement, maintain and review Safety Management SystemsEnsure regional compliance with the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and Defence Security Manual (DSM) requirementsPreparing documentation for security clearance applications of employeesInvestigating, making recommendations and preparing reports of security breaches and potential incidentsLiaising with the Defence Security Authority and other related departments

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Cert IV in WHS (or ability to obtain)Excellent judgement and initiative to resolve a wide range of technical issuesExperience in managing workplace HSE requirementsSound knowledge, experience and understanding of HSE LegislationFamiliar with Microsoft Suite and quick to learn new systems
