Safety Representative IV
**Job Description** The Safety Representative will maintain a safe and healthy work environment by coordinating safe performance of tasks associated with the plant mission by constantly interfacing with supervision and plant personnel on safe work practices, hazard identification and elimination. The Safety Representative will review, evaluate and analyze work environments and design programs and procedures to control, eliminate and prevent disease or injury caused by chemical, physical and biologoical agents or ergonomic factors. The Safety Representative will conduct inspections and enforce adherence to laws and regulations governing the health and safety of individuals. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Associate's Degree in Safety or related industrial field; 5 years experience working in Safety or health related field or working knowledge of hazards associated with explosives manufacturing. + Working knowledge of the Code of Federal Regulations, codes, standards of supporting agencies such as OSHA, NIOSH, NEC and ANSI + Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills + Basic computer skills including Excel, Word **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Knowledge of hazards associated with explosives manufacturing Working knowledge of Site specific Army regulations, SOP's and Plant Protection Standards Hazard analysis techniques and Incident Investigation procedures Emergency Incident Command procedures **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $44362 - $70979 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
