Position Summary / Department Summary:
Under general direction, manages multiple Enterprise quality and safety projects/initiatives and completes assigned project activities. Defines, plans, and manages all phases of projects. Serves as PPSQ liaison and relationship manager with departmental, divisional, and enterprise stakeholders. Facilitates customer and stakeholder relationships throughout the projects.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage multiple Enterprise quality and safety projects/initiatives under weekly supervisor guidance.
+ Define, plan, and manage all phases of projects, including:
+ Coordinate day-to-day activities (staff recruitment, record systems, meetings).
+ Gather project information (schedules, data requests, logs, plans, communications).
+ Track work, tasks, and assignments with the project team.
+ Monitor/modify project schedules and deliverables.
+ Maintain document control, databases, tracking, and team communications.
+ Develop project deliverables with limited supervision: workflow diagrams, presentations, status reports, communication plans, minutes, timelines.
+ Collaborate with Quality and Safety analyst to develop and execute measurement plans:
+ Identify key processes and indicators.
+ Establish baseline metrics, implement measurement plans.
+ Track details for run-charts/data visuals to monitor progress.
+ Confer with analysts on outcomes; visualize/present data in multiple formats.
+ Communicate effectively (written/verbal) with stakeholders, senior leadership, and associates at all levels.
+ Perform project analysis and data coordination:
+ Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to meet objectives.
+ Provide data entry/coordination services for improvement projects.
+ Manage data and serve as resource on coordination procedures.
+ Collaborate with senior staff on workflow processes; assist in developing comprehensive workflows.
+ Educate and mentor junior staff.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or 4 years’ Quality & Safety experience in lieu of degree.
+ 2 years’ Quality & Safety Project Management experience.
+ Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio); ability to create data capture tools (e.g., REDCap).
+ Knowledge of healthcare quality monitoring, measurement, and process improvement tools.
+ Knowledge of project management concepts and tools.
+ Ability to facilitate multi-disciplinary teams (clinical/non-clinical) for implementing improvements.
+ Ability to provide solutions and recommendations within a project management framework.
+ Interest/skill in working with data sets and creating effective presentations in collaboration with healthcare data analysts.
+ Ability to identify unfamiliar circumstances and escalate appropriately.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong interpersonal skills to partner with customers, peers, and management.
