GFT is seeking a Safety Project Manager to join our Transporation Business Group in the Greater Tallahasee area. This role follows a hybrid work model, or the option to work remotely.

What you will be challenged to do:
As Safety Project Manager, you will be part of diverse multi-disciplinary teams delivering transportation planning and design, traffic engineering, and highway safety projects within our regional transportation groups. You will lead projects and interface directly with our clients while serving as both a mentor and a coach for our junior-level staff.

Professional Engineer (PE) or -Professional Planner Certification (AICP) or other comparable certificationKnowledge of current approaches to improve safety implemented by FDOT and FHWAExperience with preparing project approaches and fee estimates for proposalsAbility to communicate effectively with multiple project stakeholders, including clients, the public, and regulatory agenciesExperience in data management, safety analysis, and AASHTO’s Highway Safety Manual - Proficient understanding and knowledge of frequently used traffic analysis, data management/ analysis, and transportation safety software (ArcGIS, SQL, Python, PowerBI, IHSDM, Transmodeler, Synchro etc.)Compensation:The salary range for this role is $150,000 - $1750,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
