Job Description - Attend daily safety meetings and authorize work permits as needed. - Coordinate and monitor daily operations of pipeline gathering systems and compressor stations. - Conduct site visits to identify hazards, coach employees on OSHA and company safety standards, and document findings. - Monitor and optimize NGL and crude oil logistics, blending operations, and equipment performance. - Verify contractor compliance with ISNetWorld, orientation, job qualifications, and equipment checklists. - Support environmental compliance and ensure safe, orderly work progression. - Lead or assist in incident investigations and safety stand-downs. - Utilize SCADA systems to monitor pipeline integrity and respond to alarms. - Apply Stop Help Start and positive reinforcement for safe behaviors. Weekly Responsibilities - Attend progress and contractor safety meetings. - Submit weekly safety and timesheet reports. - Complete electronic job observation forms. - Participate in root cause analysis for incidents. Monthly Responsibilities - Perform or verify inspections and calibrations of safety equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, gas monitors, fall protection). - Lead or support PSM audits and maintain documentation (PHAs, MOC, Mechanical Integrity). - Train field personnel on emergency response and PSM protocols. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field or 5 years of experience in a safety-focused role. - Previous experience in natural gas, natural gas liquids, and crude oil specific to pipeline gathering, compression and process safety management facilities - Alternatives: o OSHA 500 or 501 Trainer Certification. o Associate degree in Occupational Safety with 2 years of relevant experience. o OSHA 1926 or 1910 30-hour training with 3 years of experience. o Prior experience in natural gas, NGLs, and crude oil operations, including pipeline gathering, compression, and process safety management (PSM). null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
