A client of Insight Global is seeking a unarmed Safety Officer who will report to the Safety, Security, and Transportation Supervisor or Manager. The Safety Officer is responsible for enforcing all authorized rules and regulations and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, DOL guidelines, Job Corps notices, and Eckerd Connects policies. This role promotes a safe and healthy environment by monitoring the use of personal protective equipment, conducting accident investigations, and processing injury reports. The Safety Officer facilitates safety meetings, advises leadership on health and safety concerns, and leads safety campaigns to reduce accidents and injuries. Additional responsibilities include modeling and communicating Career Success Standards, maintaining accountability of staff and students, and fostering a climate free of harassment and intimidation. The position requires attending staff training sessions, completing all safety-related courses, and performing other duties as assigned. pay is 18/hr, 37,440k
