About this RoleNorthStar Energy Solutions is looking for a hands-on Safety Manager Support professional to assist our Transmission & Distribution (T&D) operations across the North Texas area. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the day-to-day execution of field safety initiatives. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in the power industry, with a focus on T&D safety leadership. You’ll work directly with crews, foremen, and project leadership to promote a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and conduct on-site safety observations that drive continuous improvement.
What You'll Do Provide daily support to field safety teams and operations personnel across Transmission & Distribution projects in North Texas.Conduct regular field visits and jobsite observations to help ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OSHA, CUSP standards, and project-specific requirements.Collaborate with foremen, crew members, and project leadership to identify safety concerns and reinforce safe work practices.Promote a proactive, solutions-focused safety culture across all job sites and crews.Assist in tracking and analyzing safety-related data, including incidents, near misses, and compliance observationsReview safety documentation and help drive corrective action and continuous improvement efforts.Support the execution of safety initiatives tailored to project needs and conditions.Communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of personnel. What You'll Bring A minimum of 8 years of experience is a must in the power industry, specifically in Transmission & DistributionMust have 4–5 years of direct safety experience within T&D environmentsCurrent CUSP certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire is a mustHigh School Diploma/GED is preferredBilingual in Spanish/English is a plusProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management toolsStrong leadership, communication, and team-building skillsAbility and willingness to travel.
