Responsibilities The Opportunity : Safety Manager (MOVE) Location: Nuevo Leon Ensure the safety of people, facilities, materials, and processes within warehouses, mixing areas, and distribution centers through the proper implementation of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance and fostering continuous improvement in the safety culture. Your Impact As a Move Safety Manager, your scope would include: 1. Overseeing compliance with safety policies and procedures in assigned areas (warehouse, mixing, and distribution centers). 2. Identifying, assessing, and controlling risks associated with storage, transfer, mixing, and dispatch operations. 3. Coordinating safety inspections and audits, generating reports, and following up on action plans. 4. Ensuring proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforcement of safe work permits. 5. Participating in investigations of incidents, accidents, and unsafe conditions using methodologies such as the “5 Whys” or “Cause Tree.” 6. Training operational staff on industrial safety, chemical handling, emergency response, and first aid. 7. Monitoring compliance with internal and external regulations (STPS, SEMARNAT, applicable NOMs). 8. Collaborating with maintenance, operations, and logistics teams to prevent unsafe acts or conditions during handling and mixing activities. 9. Keeping records of inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and material safety data sheets up to date. 10. Coordinating drills and emergency plans in the areas under your responsibility. Qualifications Who Are We Looking For? Basic requierments • Education: Degree in Engineering and/or a Bachelor’s with a focus in EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety). • Internal Candidates: Must have more than 1.8 years at level L9 and experience in EHS. • Language: Fluent to advanced English communication skills. External Candidates: • Experience: 2–3 years in industrial safety, preferably in logistics, chemical, or manufacturing operations. Knowledge: • Safety and hygiene regulations (e.g., NOM-004-STPS, NOM-005-STPS, NOM-017-STPS, among others). • Safe handling and storage of chemicals. • Work permits, lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO). • Incident investigation and risk analysis. • Effective communication and operational leadership. • Observation and analytical skills. • Fieldwork and ability to perform under pressure. • Preventive mindset and service-oriented attitude. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): • Zero disabling accidents (LTIR, SR, RIR). • Compliance with internal and external audits. • Percentage of completed safety training. • Corrective action closure rate.
