About the Role:
As a Safety Manager Lead you will play a key role in developing, assessing, and maintaining policies and procedures that helps to reduce risk and keep employees safe from harm in the workplace. Safety managers provide training and guidance for workers and ensure that the workplace is in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Location: Hampton, GA
Shift: 6 am- 4 PM (Overtime will be required for this role)
In this Role You Will:
• Identify hazards and eliminating or coordination of mitigating hazards utilizing hierarchy of controls
• Make frequent tours of the worksite observing work processes and procedures while engaging employees, correcting safety deficiencies, and coaching
• Create daily safety reports documenting observations and noting any actions to be corrected
• Inspect and audit JSAs
• Perform monthly audit such as, Rigging Inspection, Fall Protection Inspection, Assured Grounding Inspection, Temporary Power GFCI Inspection, and ARC Flash PPE Inspection
• Produce weekly Toolbox Topics relevant to jobsite's activities
• Conduct orientations and training
• Handle accident and incident investigations
• Responsible for case management
