Safety Engineer – Marine Construction Project

We are urgently seeking a Safety Engineer to oversee HSE activities for a marine jetty construction project in Oman. The role involves supervising safety officers across multiple sites, enforcing HSE plans, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities: Supervise safety officers across multiple construction sites in Oman. Enforce implementation of project-specific HSE plans. Improve safety awareness and site safety conditions. Investigate near misses, incidents, and accidents. Perform statistical analysis and share findings as needed. Prepare monthly HSE reports for site management. Liaise with client and consultant safety representatives. Supervise subcontractors to ensure safety compliance. Monitor overall HSE processes and team actions. Organize emergency drills and safety inspections. Conduct toolbox talks and site safety meetings. Requirements: Proven experience in construction safety, preferably in marine or civil infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of HSE regulations and site safety protocols. Ability to lead and coordinate safety teams across multiple locations. Experience in incident investigation and reporting. Familiarity with emergency response planning and execution. Ability to work in a multicultural environment and manage subcontractor safety performance.
