Safety Coordinator
Job Description Day-to-day: Our client is seeking a safety professional to ensure compliance with company, state and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations. You will be responsible for reporting concerns to safety management and ensure health and safety standards are met and responsible for documenting safety inspections, cite dangerous areas/procedures and recommend corrective procedures. You'll also maintain all site required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports, and training logs, and review daily job hazard logs and act as required. Skills and Requirements Must Haves: • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a safety professional in construction industry • OSHA 30hr certified • CPR and First Aid Certifications • Proficient in health and safety management systems Plusses: • OSHA 500 • CHST certification • Associates/bachelor’s degree • Experience working on mission critical facilities as a safety professional
