Safety Coordinator
Job Description The Safety Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of safety on your project site. Working closely with our Regional Safety Director, this position ensures that all corporate safety, health, and environmental programs are fully implemented and adhered to. Key responsibilities include:  · Site Safety Orientation & Training: Deliver comprehensive safety orientations and specialized training programs, including fall protection, equipment operation (man lifts, forklifts), lockout/tagout procedures, and confined space entry.  · Proactive Safety Oversight: Conduct regular site inspections, air quality testing for confined spaces, and monitor work areas to identify and mitigate potential hazards before they become issues.  · Incident Management & Reporting: Investigate any property damage or personal injury incidents, document findings, and compile detailed reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.  · Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry safety standards and recommend best practices to enhance site safety.  · Safety Resources: Ensure your project site is equipped with all necessary first aid supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE). Skills and Requirements Degree in Construction Safety OR CHST Certification 1-5 years of experience in construction safety Proficient in Excel Experience with project management software
