Safety Coordinator – Renewable Energy Project (Humacao, PR)

We’re looking for a hands-on Safety Coordinator . This role plays a key part in ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient work environment during construction, commissioning, and plant operations.

What You’ll Do

Enforce OSHA and site safety standards across all project phases

Conduct field safety inspections, JSAs, and permit-to-work processes

Support LOTO, confined space, hot work, and gas safety procedures

Lead safety orientations, trainings, and toolbox talks

Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions

Partner with contractors and plant leadership to maintain a strong safety culture

What We’re Looking For

OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required)

3+ years of safety experience in industrial, construction, or energy environments

Knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and high-risk operations

Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred

Strong field presence, leadership, and communication skills
