Safety Coordinator

Description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team in Arlington, Texas. In this role, you will work closely with project teams to ensure that all job sites adhere to established safety protocols and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Identify and address potential hazards, unsafe behaviors, and equipment issues promptly.
• Facilitate safety training sessions, including OSHA 10-hour classes, for employees and subcontractors.
• Lead safety meetings to communicate expectations and reinforce company policies.
• Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, training activities, and incident reports.
• Enforce adherence to company safety standards and OSHA guidelines across all job sites.
• Provide guidance and support to employees regarding safe work practices and procedures.
• Document findings using photos, videos, and written reports to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Collaborate with management to implement improvements to safety programs.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and advancements to enhance workplace safety measures. Requirements • OSHA-authorized trainer certification with the ability to conduct OSHA 10-hour classes.
• Proven experience in safety coordination within the construction industry.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and record-keeping standards.
• Ability to identify construction site hazards and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams and enforce safety policies.
• Proficiency in using technology for documentation, including photo and video tools.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a safety-related role.
