We are hiring immediately for a full time Safety and Training Coordinator!The Safety and Training Coordinator will promote safety and standard operating procedure compliance as well as administer and maintain records for all training within the facility. When the coordinator is not training or doing safety functions, they will be assisting the warehouse teams with other responsibilities including order picking or inbound/outbound work.We know that you make a difference, so we strive to make a difference in your life as well with the competitive pay and benefits you'd expect from an industry leader, plus:The anticipate pay for this role is up to $25/hourly.Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits on Day 1 of employmentShift: Monday- Friday 12pm - 830pm (ability to work overtime)Work Location: In person at our Kennesaw, GA facilityTuition reimbursement401K matchingPaid Time OffCore Job Responsibilities/Requirements:Administers teammate on-boarding training program and performs audits of training programs.Assigns and schedules required training for new/existing teammates.Uses various teammate meetings to communicate and emphasize safety initiatives and messages.Maintains all training records for required regulatory purposes and all training records for mandatory internally required classes/training.Works as a key resource with individuals and groups to improve performance and standards within the facility.Will assist warehouse staff with various responsibilities when not handling safety or training duties.Responsible for conducting training and safety programs for teammates in the division's warehouse.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Conduct new hire on the job training.Conduct Delivery of Operations Orientation (Onboarding and Compliance).Conducts on the job training sessions covering specified areas such as new procedures and coach for correction as requested by a supervisor or manager.Provides position based safety training.Conducts Material Handling Equipment Training.Responsible for function specific training with CSW.Responsible for ensure teammates are trained on using OMU.Maintains record of all trainings.Provides focused safety training for teammates with 2 or more accidents.Conducts DC inspections monthly.Assists DC management in initial incident investigationsEmergency ResponseProvides training to teammates on all 3 shifts.EQUIPMENT, TOOLS AND WORK AIDS:
 Handhelds, voice pick equipment, material handling equipment (to include items such as: hand truck, forklift/reach trucks, cherry pickers), stretch wrap machines, safety knives, safety harnesses, printers, Computers and Tablets 2.MHE and OSHA and Fire Safety Training Certifications Preferred
