Temp-to-Hire position$26.00 to $29.00 /hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm)Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety/environmental regulations, including OR-OSHA. Conduct audits, maintain OSHA logs, and stay updated on regulatory changes.Investigations & Prevention
Lead safety meetings, inspections, and ergonomic evaluations; identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Investigate accidents, manage reporting, and support worker’s compensation programs. Monitor environmental factors for compliance.Training
Assess training needs and deliver safety programs. Develop and maintain training materials (HAZCOM, confined space, bloodborne pathogens) and lead drills and emergency exercises.Program & Environmental Administration
Review and update safety programs, analyze data, facilitate Safety Committee initiatives, and coordinate waste, permits, SDS, and work order tracking.Safety and Environment Coordinator Qualifications:
BA/BS in safety, health, or environmental field, safety certification, or 3+ years’ related experienceProficient in Microsoft Excel and Word; strong knowledge of DEQ, OSHA, SAIF, and regulatory proceduresSkilled in hazard identification, problem-solving, and decision-making under pressureStrong organizational, communication, customer service, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skillsKnowledge of manufacturing safety; ability to work independently Valid driver’s licenseApplicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
