You’ll work closely with our Regional Warehouse Manager and leadership team to maintain and improve programs related to Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and Transportation Safety. What You’ll Do As a Safety & Compliance Officer, you will: + Lead Safety Initiatives – Develop and implement proactive strategies to ensure a safe work environment. + Ensure Compliance – Oversee adherence to OHS, GDP, and transportation regulations. + Conduct Audits & Inspections – Perform monthly safety inspections, COR audits, and GDP checks. + Investigate & Report – Manage incident investigations, WCB claims, and compliance documentation. + Train & Support Teams – Deliver safety and food safety training, and support drivers with log compliance. What We’re Looking For + Experience: Background in Safety, GDP, and/or Transportation compliance. + Education: OHS Certification is a strong asset. + Skills: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication (verbal & written). Ability to work independently and collaboratively. + Mindset: Solution-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
