Job Description
As a Safety Advisor, you will support industrial construction teams in delivering safe, high-performance projects across Saskatchewan's potash sector. You will play a key role in fostering a proactive safety culture and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and client standards.
ResponsibilitiesImplement and monitor project-specific safety programs and procedures.Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.Lead incident investigations and ensure timely reporting and corrective actions.Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training.Collaborate with site leadership to identify and mitigate risks.Maintain accurate safety documentation and liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.Essential Skills3–5 years of experience in a safety role within industrial or heavy civil construction.Certification in NCSO, CRSP, or CHSC (or working toward).Strong knowledge of Saskatchewan OH&S legislation and industry best practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work in remote or site-based environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with safety administration and clerical duties.Understanding of environmental health and industrial hygiene.Work Environment
The position is onsite and will initially be part-time, starting at least 3 days a week, with the potential to increase to 5 days depending on project needs. The work environment includes supporting a site undergoing significant modernization and innovation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
