About this Role
The Safety Administrative Assistant supports the Crux Subsurface Safety Department by managing training compliance and assignments, ordering and maintaining PPE and safety supplies, tracking and distributing safety equipment, assembling safety kits, supporting project mobilizations, and maintaining safety records and documentation. This role offers hands-on exposure to construction safety operations, industry-recognized compliance systems, and the opportunity to grow within a national construction company.
Hourly: $20.00 - $24.50/hour DOE

What You'll Do
+ Assign and track required safety training across QPC, ISNET, 360 Training, and HCSS platforms
+ Coordinate OSHA 10/30 enrollments for crew, foremen, and supervisors
+ Coordinate First Aid/CPR training through AHA HeartSavers and manage renewals
+ Organize logistics for in-person safety training including HEC/H2S, H1, and crane sessions
+ Manage PPE and safety supply inventory — ordering, receiving, and invoice reconciliation
+ Package and ship safety equipment to jobsites; track delivery confirmation
+ Maintain safety records, HASPs, and assignment logs in SharePoint and HCSS
+ Support the Safety Director on programs and department-wide administrative needs
What You'll Bring
Required:
+ Associate's degree in Business, Safety, Construction, or related field — or equivalent experience
+ Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams)
+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
+ Effective written and verbal communication
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel domestically
+ Background check required
Preferred:
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field
+ Construction or utility industry experience
+ Familiarity with HCSS, ISNET, QPC, or similar safety platforms
+ Experience with purchasing or inventory management
Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $24.50/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
