**Job Description**
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Safety, Health & Environment Specialist V to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In this senior-level position, you will play a crucial role in developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety, health, and environmental programs across our organization's operations.
+ Develop, implement, and maintain advanced safety, health, and environmental (SHE) programs, systems, and procedures aligned with local regulations and international best practices
+ Provide strategic leadership and guidance to ensure regulatory compliance and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization
+ Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop innovative strategies to mitigate potential hazards in the workplace
+ Lead and mentor a team of SHE professionals, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment
+ Analyze complex SHE data and prepare detailed reports for senior management and regulatory agencies
+ Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures
+ Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to integrate SHE considerations into all aspects of the organization's operations
+ Design and deliver comprehensive SHE training programs for employees at all levels
+ Stay informed about changes in local and international SHE regulations, ensuring the organization remains compliant and up-to-date
+ Represent the organization in interactions with regulatory bodies and industry associations
+ Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve SHE performance
+ Implement innovative technologies and best practices to enhance the organization's SHE management systems
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
+ Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in safety, health, and environmental management, preferably in a construction or industrial setting
+ In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian safety and environmental regulations
+ Familiarity with international safety standards such as ISO 45001
+ Proficiency in both Arabic and English languages
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights
+ Excellent leadership and team management abilities
+ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
+ Proven track record of developing and implementing successful SHE programs
+ Experience in overseeing various trades and operations in large-scale projects
+ Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple project sites as needed
+ Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent professional certification
+ NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or similar qualification is highly desirable
+ Proficiency in using safety management software and data analysis tools
+ Demonstrated ability to influence and drive cultural change in organizations
+ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in high-pressure situations
+ Experience in conducting thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses
