Job DescriptionEnsuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.Implementation safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local regulations and internal requirements, including AECOM Safety for Life Program,Conducting regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Providing training and education to employees on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment.Investigation accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop SHE Plans for offices, and field projects.Monitor and analyze safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to reduce workplace injuries and illnesses.Coordinate and participate in safety committee meetings to address safety concerns and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for hazardous tasks and processes.Recommends improvements in processes, design, procedures and operating equipment to minimize hazards. Stay updated on industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging safety technologies to ensure continuous improvement in safety programs.Provides regulatory interpretation and technical advice. Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and promote a positive Safety CultureMaintaining Safety and Environmental Management Systems according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.

Qualifications

 

Very good knowledge of English and PolishMinimum 5 years experience in an independent SH&E role within an international environment including min 1 year experience on construction sites.Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Polish health and safety regulations, with the ability to translate them into practical business solutions.Ability to lead and conduct training sessions.Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety protocols.Effective communication, presentation, organizational and documentation skills.

Additional InformationInternal Auditor of Safety and Environment Management systems (ISO 14001 and  ISO 45001) will be a plusFire inspector qualification will be a plus
