/*generated inline style */ Advert WordingThis role is a Team Manager in the Safer Kirklees Team and as such needs to have knowledge and abilities to work with Partners across a range of priorities (Violence & Exploitation, Neighbourhood Crime & ASB, Inclusive & Resilient Communities and Reducing Risk) and co-ordinate partnership place specific interventions to improve safety.
As a lead officer in co-ordinating the development and delivery of the Kirklees Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy, the post holder will be able to formulate our approach to tackling ASB and work with partners to shape the delivery of this approach using appropriate project planning techniques to track delivery.
The role has a specialism in ASB which requires an in depth understanding of ASB case management and legislation, Tools and Powers relating to ASB, and the ability to advise staff about utilising these appropriately and ensuring that processes are followed in line with legal requirements. The post has responsibility for decision making in terms of progressing legal options and managing risks associated with this.
You will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that the Safer Kirklees Team fulfils agreed activities under the Service Level Agreement with Homes and Neighbourhoods and is responsible for evaluating impact of this work and reporting this accordingly.
The specialist nature of this role and the critical role in the team means that we are seeking to recruit someone who has skills, knowledge and experience in delivering the requirements of the post from the outset.
