Position Overview Sacred Heart School is seeking a part-time Math Resource Specialist to work with students in grades 3–6 who need targeted support or enrichment in mathematics. The ideal candidate is skilled in elementary math instruction, flexible in working with diverse learners, and committed to collaborating with classroom teachers and families to support student success. Key Responsibilities: Provide small-group instruction (pull-out and/or push-in) for students needing math intervention or enrichment. Collaborate with classroom teachers to identify students based on performance data, benchmark assessments, and classroom observation. Develop and implement targeted support plans aligned with student needs. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed. Maintain documentation of support services, including RTI tracking and Learning Resource Plans. Communicate regularly with teachers and parents regarding student progress and strategies for continued growth. Attend and participate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings when requested. Support the mission of Sacred Heart School by fostering a positive, faith-filled learning environment. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required Experience working with students in grades 3–6 Strong understanding of elementary math content and instruction Effective communication and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications: California teaching credential (or equivalent from another state) Experience with RTI/small-group instruction Familiarity with Common Core Math Standards and formative assessment tools
