Job Description

We are currently seeking a Logistics Specialist who exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches work with vigor and determination. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellence, learn quickly, and strive for perfection in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage the full cycle of shipment arrangements from vendor bookings to final delivery for domestic and international shipments.Seek ways to reduce transit time on urgent freight requests while maintaining cost-effectiveness.Monitor all milestones of freight through expedited processes.Partner with merchandise vendors, domestic carriers, and distribution center locations to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.Collaborate with internal teams and transportation providers to ensure seamless handoffs of critical shipments.Exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily operations and escalate issues that may cause shipment delays.Communicate critical information to internal and external partners clearly, concisely, and professionally.Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement appropriate solutions.Analyze and monitor KPI performance and manage data reports to drive business results.Compile and present data analysis to management and measure performance criteria for all carriers and vendors.Conduct meetings with vendors via phone or web conferencing to address issues and coordinate timely shipments.Ensure compliance with approvals and financial governance policies during expedited shipments.Provide incredible responsiveness and attention to detail.Work within ERP and TMS systems.Be open to working extended shifts occasionally when dealing with expedited shipments.

Essential Skills

Experience in logistics and customer service.Knowledge of third-party logistics, shipping and receiving, and freight transportation.Experience in supply chain and inventory management.Proficiency with international freight and SAP systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in international freight, particularly in the Asia and APAC regions.Strong analytical skills to monitor and manage performance metrics.Experience in working within ERP and TMS systems.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
