Our culture of evolution and empathy centers on long-term career growth and development opportunities in an environment that embraces your unique skills and experience. **Your role and responsibilities** As an SAP S/4HANA PP Consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner who designs, leads and implements expert solutions utilizing the breadth of IBM’s offerings and technologies. You will be a trusted advisor to our industrial clients, helping them optimize and transform their production and planning processes through SAP S/4HANA. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (MM, SD, QM, EWM, CO) to deliver end-to-end solutions that address complex operational challenges. A successful Consultant in this role brings strong manufacturing process knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable SAP designs. Your key responsibilities include: * Leading and delivering SAP S/4HANA PP implementations, enhancements and support activities. * Designing and configuring Production Planning processes including MRP, BOM, Routing, Work Centers, Production Orders, Process Orders, Capacity Planning, and Shop Floor Control. * Driving MRP Live and advanced S/4HANA PP capabilities to enhance planning efficiency and system performance. * Collaborating with integration teams across MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM and CO to build robust, cross-functional solutions. * Supporting clients in defining production strategies, KPIs and operational improvements. * Providing expertise during workshops, testing cycles, cutover and hypercare. * Acting as a trusted advisor who ensures solution quality, adherence to best practices and alignment with client expectations. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA PP including MRP Live, Demand Management, Production Orders, Process Orders, and Shop Floor Control. * Deep understanding of core PP configuration: BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Capacity Planning, Scheduling and Planning Strategies. * Demonstrated experience integrating PP with MM, SD, QM, WM/EWM, and CO in end-to-end industrial processes. * Proven ability to lead workshops, translate business requirements into SAP solutions, and deliver high-quality configuration and documentation. * Excellent communication skills, client-facing experience, and ability to work in cross-functional, international delivery teams. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience in Advanced ATP (aATP), embedded PP/DS, or S/4HANA Advanced Planning capabilities. * Previous involvement in large industrial transformation programs or multi-country rollouts. * SAP Certifications in PP or S/4HANA modules.
