RWTKP - Talent Development Coordinator
Job Description

Position Summary 

The Talent Development Coordinator supports the Director of Talent Development in the coordination, delivery, and administration of Learning & Development initiatives across the property.  This role ensures associates receive consistent, high-quality learning experiences aligned with Rosewood’s Purpose, Vision, and Values.  The Talent Development Coordinator partners with department leaders to support onboarding, compliance training, leadership development, and associate engagement initiatives that enhance performance, service excellence, and organizational culture.

Learning & Development Coordination

Coordinate Learning and Development programs, including onboarding, Perfect Discovery, departmental training, and leadership development initiatives.Assist in identifying learning and development needs through collaboration with department leaders, feedback, and engagement survey results.Develop, maintain, and distribute the monthly Learning & Development calendar.

Systems, Reporting & Administration

Manage and maintain the Learning Management Systems, including uploading courses, updating records, generating reports, and tracking completion.Maintaining accurate, complete, and up-to-date Learning & Development records for all associates.Monitor completion of mandatory and compliance-related training and follow up with departments as required.

Associate Engagement & Support

Supporting associate engagement initiatives, including recognition programs, Rosewood Journey celebrations, and Quarterly recognition activities.Manage elements of the Monthly Recognition Program, including purchasing recognition items, maintaining recognition, and supporting communications.Providing associates with information regarding available Learning & Development and professional development opportunities.

Collaboration & Communication

Work closely with the Director of Talent Development to ensure consistent and effective delivery of learning initiatives.Partner with department leaders to support developmental learning plans and development objectives.Communicate learning updates, training opportunities, and reminders to associates and leaders in a timely and professional manner.


Performs other similar or related duties as necessary.

Experience

1 - 2 of experience in Learning & Development, training coordination, human resources, or hospitality operations.Experience coordinating training programs preferred.Experience in preparing reports, presentations, and training documentation preferred.Luxury hospitality or service-driven environment experience is an asset.Experience working in a fast-paced service environment preferred.Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications required.

 

 

Required Skills and Knowledge

Working knowledge of Learning & Development methodologies and adult learning principles.Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – particularly Excel.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.Professional presence aligned with Rosewood brand standards.

 

Qualifications 

Certificate, diploma, degree or coursework in Hospitality, Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field preferred.Experience in Learning and Development coordination, coaching, or service delivery preferred.Experience working in a hotel or resort environment preferred.
