Job Description

Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as a peer mentor having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise.

**This role is combined of both field and desk-home based adjusting. While the position is remote, the ideal candidate will be based in or near Austin or San Antonio, TX, or Northern California—specifically the Sacramento or Stockton areas.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in damage estimating for RVs and commercial vehicles. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience conducting photo-based and on-site inspections, particularly for RVs, which requires a strong understanding of vehicle structures and repair methodologies.

Ideal candidate has strong time management, organizational, customer service, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in one or more estimating platforms: CCC, Duncan (RV), or AdjustRite (Commercial).

Licensing is not required, but preferred. Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain one during training.**

Key Responsibilities

• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training

• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files

• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices

• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities

Education

• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Compensation

Base compensation offered for this role is $54,496 - $88,462.40 and is based on experience and qualifications.  Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
