Rust Embedded SW Developers
Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Active SECRET clearance (must have).

Proficiency in Rust, C/C++, and Python.

Experience with embedded real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Linux, Integrity).

Background in requirements analysis, design, implementation, HW/SW integration, and formal test.

Ability to develop software test plans, procedures, and technical documentation.

Experience with defect tracking and peer review practices.

Familiarity with modeling/tools for prototyping, experimental testing, and performance evaluation.

Preferred Skills

Experience converting C/C++ code to Rust and developing Rust for embedded systems.

Object-oriented design; exposure to UML/modeling tools (IBM Rhapsody, MagicDraw/Cameo).

Device driver and BSP development for real-time embedded systems.

Information Assurance/cryptography experience.

Certification experience (e.g., NSA Type 1, DO-178).

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define HW/SW interfaces, operational performance requirements, and system design.

Execute all phases of the SDLC: requirements, architecture/design, implementation, HW/SW integration, and formal verification/validation.

Investigate root causes of complex issues and implement solutions individually or within multi-discipline teams.

Develop and maintain software test plans, procedures, reports, and supporting documentation.

Use modeling tools and lab equipment to collect operating data, prototype solutions, conduct experiments, and evaluate results.

Participate in design/code reviews; identify, track, and resolve defects.



Pay Details: $60.00 to $100.00 per hour
