Job Mission:
This position is responsible for supporting the end-to-end planning and sales activities for a specific category within the fashion product lifecycle. The RTW Merchandiser works closely with the RTW Merchandising Manager to execute product planning, optimize inventory, and drive sales performance. Additionally, the role contributes to the implementation of corporate initiatives and strategic projects led by the RTW Merchandising team.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Reporting
Generate comprehensive sales and inventory reports using BI tools and Fashion BRIO systems.
Compile sales summaries and develop reports for internal meetings, including alignment and strategy sessions with regional heads.
Assist in global and regional reporting tasks, including product analysis, pricing surveys, and missed sales identification.
Inventory & Allocation Management
Monitor inventory levels to identify and execute boutique and regional transfers, aiming to maximize sell-through.
Develop and implement monthly merchandising allocation plans based on sales targets and forecasts.
Identify order diversion opportunities and transfer needs to meet inventory objectives and regional demands.
Coordinate product transfers for boutique events and special promotions.
Launch & Delivery Coordination
Track and ensure timely execution of product launches (FRS), including quality testing and readiness.
Monitor delivery schedules, follow up with logistics, and communicate with customs and Travel Retail operators to ensure on-time product shipments to boutiques.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Support alignment meetings and strategic planning initiatives across departments.
Maintain regular communication with internal departments such as import, logistics, and operations to streamline processes and resolve delays.
Documentation & Tools
Maintain and update key merchandising documents, such as sell-through books and allocation trackers
Role Specifications:
Academic / Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
Work Experience
Min. of 5 years in fashion buying and retail related area.
Experience in luxury fashion industry is preferred.
Required Competencies
Language: Strong level of speaking and writing in English
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; MS Excel, MS Power point, MS Word. Experience with BI systems is plus.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
