(RTS) Maintenance Manager
**Maintenance Manager - (Ready-to-Serve, RTS)** **Location:** Memphis, TN + **Comp:** up to $125k base salary + Discretionary bonus (up to 10%) + **Relocation:** Yes - case by case with great company assisted options Join our team as an **RTS Maintenance Manager** , where you'll lead a skilled maintenance team supporting operations across production, QA, sanitation, R&D, logistics, and administration. You'll play a key role in ensuring equipment, buildings, and systems run safely and efficiently in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team and frontline leaders to drive performance, reduce downtime, and support continuous improvement. + Oversee daily maintenance operations, including planning, execution, and emergency response. + Manage work orders, preventive maintenance programs, and spare parts inventory through SAP CMMS. + Collaborate with finance and leadership to set and track budgets and capital projects. + Track and report maintenance KPIs, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions. + Manage contractors and vendors to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective service. + Support food safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA, HACCP, etc.). + Serve as acting Maintenance Manager during leadership absences. **Qualifications:** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, engineering, or operations preferred. **Experience:** + 5+ years in maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment. + Prior leadership or supervisory experience required. + Expertise in low-acid canned food systems and robotic handling is a strong plus. + Proficient with CMMS systems (SAP preferred). **Technical Knowledge:** + Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems, including: + Retorts, packaging machines, conveyors, robotics + PLCs, industrial power systems, PID tuning + Instrument calibration, steam systems, and utility management **What You Bring:** + Strong leadership and team-building skills + Project and budget management experience + Data-driven mindset with proven problem-solving ability + Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement If this is a role that interests you and you’d like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
