As the Record to Report Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and ensuring the timing, accuracy, compliance, and strategic relevance of financial reporting for Emerson Site Finance or Business Unit. You will be responsible for the reporting process analyze month-end results, and provide actionable insights to support the Site, Business Unit and WA management decisions. This role also involves accountability for cross-functional teams involved in the monthly financial close: Invoice-to-Pay (ITP); Credit-to-Cash (CtC); Intercompany Operations (ICO); Inventory, etc., fostering both operational efficiency and team development.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
Oversee the preparation, accuracy and timeliness of financial reports.
Ensure all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
Coordinate and be responsible for the closing of books at month-end and year-end.
Analyze financial documents, ensure timely and accurate reporting to Customers.
Ensure financial documents are prepared in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Conduct financial analysis to assess business performance and identify areas of improvement.
Financial Reporting & Analysis on Actuals.
**Financial Management**
Analyze the operational results of the different functional teams including Invoice to Pay, Credit to Cash, ICO and Record to report, sensing data, challenges and making sound solutions
Tie up numbers, question variations, highlight issues and connect with functional teams to resolve and work on resolutions real time.
Provide variance explanation to Site for P/L and BS.
Organize root cause analysis, issues resolutions meeting and implement solutions.
Consolidate information and ensure that all month end activities are completed on target due dates.
**Communication & Collaboration**
Serve as Finance Business Partner for the Portfolio Business Unit or Site, collaborating with Site Finance
Leadership team, Business Divisions and GFS-Manila to develop and implement strategic business plans and operating initiatives through data driven insights.
Working with all functional teams in GFS-Manila to ensure financial goals are met.
Ensures efficient communication with counterparts, BUs, and sites by delivering factual data, reports and information on time thereby maintaining accurate perception on the capability and performance of the team/s in Manila.
Escalates operational issues/concerns from a process level to the appropriate support departments and provide sound recommendation to Customers.
Develops and maintains partnerships with Business Unit to increase business knowledge and Site satisfaction.
Deals optimally with Customer´s needs, issues and customer concerns.
**Leadership & People Management**
Coordinate with dispersed teams involved in of month-end close process
Drives actionable plans and collaborate from ItP, CtC, ICO and RtR in achieving desired results
Supervise and lead Record-to-Report Accounting team, provide guidance and support
Set performance standards and conduct performance reviews
Mentor, upskill, and provide guidance to direct reports, fostering growth and development within different functional teams supporting the Site or Business Unit
**Audit and Tax Compliance**
Prepare for external audit and work with auditors to ensure that financial records are in order
Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
Address any audit findings in a timely manner and implement corrective actions if it is required
Be responsible for internal controls to ensure financial integrity
Ensure compliance with corporate CP&Ps and accounting standards (GAAP)

**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting preferably with Certified Public Accountant license
+ At least seven (12) years professional experience, including management of an accounting team, positions of increasing responsibility in accounting
+ Experience working in Shared Business Services or Business Process Outsourcing
+ Prior experience in supporting business divisions, preferably in a matrixed organization structure, is helpful.
+ Prior P&L management experience is desired
+ Knowledge of accounting systems with experience in systems development (i.e., Oracle)
+ Strong financial reporting background (HFM preferred)
+ Strong analytical and financial reporting skills, expertise in regulatory compliance, ERP proficiency, and excellent interpersonal skills
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ MBA preferred but no a requirement
+ Confirmed technical and analytical skills in Finance, General Accounting – Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SOX, IAS and IFRS
+ Strong social skills. Need to be able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, adjust to changing priorities, meet deadlines and work well under pressure
